Face I’d like to SMACK: Arshavin – Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, United, Everton – Who is your vote?
In terms of players I’d like to hit, Andrei Arshavin is right up there.
To start with, he has the sort of arrogant swagger which is a pre-requisite of any player who wants to play for Arsenal (that, as well as being technically gifted, I must concede). However, he also made a bit of a tit of himself over the last 6 months by punting himself around to virtually all of Europe’s top clubs, even though most of them never really wanted him.
Annoyingly using that horrificly false and cliched phrase, he first claimed that Barcelona was his ‘dream’ (until it was clear the feeling wasn’t mutual), and then proceeded to ‘dream’ about Chelsea, Tottenham and, finally, Arsenal. WE all thought Andrei, just keep your mouth shut in future, until you’re actually holding the shirt, now that he is it almost seems worse.
However, even if you ignore the above, he still needs a twatting. Just look at his face:

i agree with all the comments above. it’s mindless idiots like the author of this article that give the beautiful game such a bad rep. i may be wide of the mark but i’m getting an image of a tatooed f+&kwit in Burberry with a pitbull and a very runny nose!! no true football fan would agree with such mindless drivel.
Agree 100% with all the above posts – you are clearly an angry little man… & v confused. I am by no means an Arsenal fan infact im a spurs fan however concede that arshavin is a quality little player with a great attitude(always running and extremely dangerous on the ball, and quite tuff too)
why not speak of players that maybe DESERVE a slap for ruining the beautifull game:
Adebyor- Craig Bellamy – Ashley cole (for hes petulance)- El hagi diouf i could go on but theese are the real morons that bring the game down and could use a good slap!

I dont think arshavin really deserves this. why not slap diouff, or someone else who’s really in need of a good slap? arshavin doesn’t really show any bad attitude on the pitch to warrant this random slap attack…
