Liverpool Striker Nets Senorita!
At 5ft5″ Olalla Dominguez is certainly smaller than the Premiership defenders her hubby has to battle every weekend.
Having become Mrs. Torres last summer, Olalla will be hoping her knight in shining armour can get back on the pitch and help Liverpool to fourth spot. It could mean a few less European shopping trips if she can’t! Unless she fancies trips to the likes of Lille or Palermo, in the Europa League.
Torres and Dominguez (sounds like a Spanish pop duo) decided to tie the knot last summer in the only way footballers know how. Flash wedding, hundreds of guests, live music….oh wait…make that, 2 guests, no music and in a church just north of Madrid. Not quite the typical footballer.
Torres grew up in Madrid but spent every summer in the seaside town of Estorde, in Galicia in North West Spain – where Olalla’s family also went for the summer. There must have been something in the seaside air, or possibly the fact that he was the hottest prospect in Spanish football, that brought these two together. None the less, they have been going out for eight years and lived together in Madrid before moving to the UK.
They also have a child. Unfortunately for Liverpool fans, it is a girl, which was disappointing as they had believed even a child with the genes of Torres would be a better second striker than David N’gog!
