Car Crash Is ‘Tip Of The Iceberg’
Manchester City’s Mario Balotelli was left unharmed from a car crash he was involved in early yesterday morning. The 20 year old was driving his Audi A8 when he collided with a BMW in Hulme, Manchester that left both parties unscathed.
Only two weeks ago I wrote an article (link at bottom of story) stating my opinion that Balotelli’s attitude could mean he’d be more trouble than he’s worth for City. While little is known about the details of the crash, I must say I’m hardly surprised it’s him involved.
I wouldn’t go as far as to speculate whose fault the incident was, but if you pressed me I’d say probably his. Generally when these types of ‘flash’ footballers (Balotelli, Ashley Cole et al) are involved in non-football incidents it’s almost always because of their own stupidity.
The crash could have been purely accidental, or even the other drivers fault. But my cynicism tells me there will be more revealing details at a later date.
My worry for City (worry may be a tad strong) is that this could be the tip of the iceberg. Some of Balotelli’s previous moments of genius include wearing an AC Milan top whilst being an Inter player and apparently not bothering with training. One thing on City’s side is that he has a good relationship with Roberto Mancini, who was his manager at Inter Milan.
Manchester City play Sunderland today at the Stadium of Light. Balotelli won’t be making the trip up to the North East because of an existing knee injury though.

City Fans,
Many of you posting on here are indistinguishable from Chelsea fans after Abramovich took over. Try taking deep breath before hitting the submit button.
If you want to read nothing but praise and wonder about your club, indeed any club… you’re going to have start your own website/newspaper.
Footballers crash cars and get up to all sorts of misadventures. This is 99% of the time down to them being retarded. Not due to them ‘having trouble driving on the wrong side of the road’.
My take on the piece was that Craig is about as fed up as most people with footballers being retarded. The minority of deluded twits that left bitter comments on here clearly have a bottomless pit of sympathy for this particular moron.
How sympathetic would you be if it were your son or daughter was mown down and killed by one of these superstars driving like a circus clown?
Grow up or don’t it’s all the same to me. But do not feel welcome to post anymore thin skinned rubbish on here.

Christiano Ronaldo crashed his Italian supercar in the tunnels next to Manchester airport a couple of years ago, and went on to become World player of the year.
There is no correlation between vehicular proficiency and footballing prowess.
This car crash is merely the tip of the icecube.

CiTyBlUe,
The world I am sure was begging on it’s bended knees for a blog written by a dyslexic monkey.

No offence, but Balotelli has just come from a country where they drive on the “wrong” side of the road. I drive past the scene of the accident every day, and it’s a place where the road divides into two, and there are always drivers swapping lanes when they realiswe they’ve made a cock-up. Could it just be that the guy is a bit unfamiliar with English driving customs?
I think you’ve jumped the gun on this one a little bit, and should probably just stick to reporting the facts (ie he had a fender bender) rather than pure speculation (ie Psycho Balotelli in smash horror).
But hey, I’m sure you’re right about Balotelli being in the papers more often than not, but here’s to hoping it’s because he’s banging the goals in eh?

I’ve just heard a rumour that you are a mad axe-man who has just killed 50,000 people. Now I don’t know any details so I don’t want to speculate but if you pressed me I would say it is probably true.

Love to see a Solicitors letter arrive on your chipboard desk. Your comment to dignify your scribbling is bordering on racism and without doubt irrational and without foundation. No doubt you have never been involved in an accident in your Reliat Robin. Your anti City blathering is teetering on obsession which places you deep in the realms of the glory seeking rags.
You berate any City fans that dare challenge your psychosis but you really are just a shock jock with no thought for your subject other than to get hits on this site. Just as before you wont allow anything that exposes you for the fraud you are. Do one you moron. That assessment is based on your outpourings and product which have the intelligence quotient of a midegts shoe size. Word is this is really all about your lack of presence in the trouser department. Could this unsubstantiated rumour be true? Personally I cant believe it because I think you are the biggest dick on the net.

Ray,
After wading through that I would imagine you’re one of the brightest stars at your end of the chimpanzee cage and I have to issue a formal apology. I am indeed a racist. I published an article about a black man who was involved in a car crash. And you are also right about me being a glory seeking rag.
I cannot begin to tell you how well and truly put in my place I feel. I am so very, very sorry.
I shall attempt to rectify things at once. My first step is to remove all articles about footballers of all races from this site, as a precautionary measure. Next, I will personally rewrite any pieces that allude to City not being the finest football club the world has ever seen.

It’s funny you should say that, Paul. I was talking to Craig the other day and I could barely make out every other word what with that big white sheet and pointy hat he was wearing. I’ll keep an eye on him.

First time on the Transfer Taven website….and the last! Thought it might be more well informed than the normal dribble. How wrong can you be? Still, the post directed traffic to the site, so you got the desired response, but for how long!
