The Pick Of The Premiership Predictor

Welcome to Game Week 14 of the Barclays PremiershipAnd with no further ado let’s get stuck into what is a fascinating fixture list. Seven games on Saturday, two on Sunday and that means Monday Night Football!

Newcastle host Chelsea and so for the second time this season Toon face some serious interrogation over their early form. Beaten by Manchester City they won’t find facing Chelsea much easier. A draw might postpone cries of, ‘Cockney Mafia Oot!’ for another week.  My prediction is 2-3.

Norwich travel up to Manchester City. Norwich’s away form has been respectable and their form generally has been on the up.  Unfortunately they are playing a side that have hit their best vein of form since they started writing cheques. Canaries travelling will be happy with a valiant display. My prediction 3-1.

Tottenham at home to Bolton is likely to be a moody affair to start off with. Bolton fans have had very little to get excited over this season and Spurs fans whilst experiencing a fantastic run in the league, had to sit through yet another substandard Europa game midweek. They want to be entertained every game in N17. My prediction 4-2.

Wigan are at home to Arsenal. Wigan sit second from bottom thanks to countless mediocre performances. Arsenal are seventh and will argue that’s only because of mediocre start. Arsenal need to win here to emphasize they out of the mediocre woods. Wigan will be scrapping and it’s not even Christmas. My prediction 1-1.

Aston Villa vs Manchester United could turn nasty. Sir Alex will be wanting to close the gap between his lot and the noisy neighbours. Villa will of course put up a fight but I’m struggling to see it being enough. My prediction 1-6.

Fulham are at home to Liverpool and the Martin Jol feelgood factor is evaporating by the minute. King Kenny’s crown went a bit lopsided for a bit there but sat seventh just two points beneath Chelsea is more than credible given that Andy Carroll doesn’t appear to work. My prediction 1-3.

Fulham to beat Liverpool?? 3-1?? Are you serious? If you meant Liverpool to win you should have shown 1-3 if Liverpool is the away team.

Why is this only Newcastle second test of the season? They have played Arsenal, Man u, Spurs and City and have got draws out of 3 of those 4 games and were failry unlucky at city hitting the post and giving away 2 pens.

Have to disagree with the Arsenal and man u predictions aswell. Presumably you are going off gut feeling rather than form and league position here. Man U have been in very poor form of late either drawing or scraping 1-0 wins and they’re playing a team who are 8th in the league. Arsenal are playing Wigan who have been woeful this season and only just scraped a last minute winner at Sunderland to make it 1 win in 10 campared to Arsnals 1 loss in 8.
Think you’re going more on what you want to happen rather than what is most probable.

Have to agree with ya prediction for the Liverpool game, Fulham looked good against Arsenal and against Spurs, they are dominant at home, this is a game Liverpool need there battlers and they just lost there best one for 6 months.

Fulham are a huge team which means Carroll will play and lets face it the guy is terrible
