  • Blackburn signed QPR defender Bradley Orr on transfer deadline day, and saw his new team mates suffer a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Newcastle
  • Orr has had limited opportunities with QPR this season, playing just 366 minutes and making 18 defensive contributions (tackles, clearances, interceptions, and blocks)

West Brom v Swansea Sat 4 Feb 15:00

  • West Brom moved seven points clear of the relegation zone with a point against Fulham in their last Barclays Premier League game
  • An equaliser from substitute Somen Tchoyi earned the Baggies a point. They have now lost just one of their last five away games in the league.
  • Youssuf Mulumbu covered the most ground for West Brom in that game with 6.05 miles
  • West Brom swooped for Blackburn’s Keith Andrews and Birmingham’s Liam Ridgewell in the January transfer window

  • Sinclair put Swansea ahead before Neil Taylor put through his own net to level the scores
  • Taylor has made a vital contribution for the Swans this season, winning 76% of tackles so far this season and making 56 interceptions

Wigan v Everton Sat 4 Feb 15:00

  • An 80th minute goal from James McArthur was just a consolation as Wigan were out classed by Spurs in their last Premier League match
  • McArthur’s goal was his first of the season. The Scottish midfielder has completed a pass in his opponent’s half one every four minutes five seconds inthe Barclays Premier League so far this season

  • Yaya Toure has completed 689 passes in his opponent’s half this season, the fourth highest in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index. David Silva tops the index in this with 787 passes completed in his opponent’s half.
  • In his absence, Samir Nasri covered the most ground for Man City with 6.16 miles
  • Nasri has completed 633 passes in his opponent’s half this season, and has the best minutes per pass completed rate of any player in the league with one every two minutes 8 seconds on the pitch
  • A hat trick hero in the previous game, Clint Dempsey scored for Fulham in their last Barclays Premier League game to earn a point against West Brom
  • Dempsey has now moved above Wayne Rooney to become the player with the second highest number of shots on target in the league, behind Robin van Persie.
  • Dempsey has now had 54 shots on target this season, scoring ten goals.
  • Steve Sidwell covered the most ground for Fulham in that game with 5.85 miles
