On top of the being convicted of racism by the FA, Suarez has also annoyed supporters, including his own, when going to ground under very soft challenges and demanding unlikely free-kicks.

Reports have now emerged that the talented forward will be offered another escape from his controversies, this time to .

According to the Daily Star, ‘The Old Lady’ want Suarez to replace their veteran superstar Alessandro in the summer.

Del Piero has spent much of this season on the bench, and is likely to leave Juventus in the summer – either through retirement or transfer – and the Turin giants have earmarked Suarez as the man to replace him.

Suarez has performed excellently for throughout the last year and although he has the backing of the club’s loyal fans, he has been told that he can expect to be booed at almost every other ground in the country when he returns from his eight-game ban.

There is no indication that Liverpool would even entertain the idea of selling Suarez though, and the report suggests a bid of £30million plus will be needed to get Liverpool to think about it.
