Are you a keen runner? Perhaps it’s the taking part that counts for you? Or may be you are someone who enjoys being involved with raising money for a worthwhile cause?

Either way, if this sounds like you or someone you know then Liverpool legend and the would like you to participate in the on Sunday 18th March to help raise money for their charity.

Discounted places are now available and a number of exclusive 23 Foundation Team running vests are up for grabs totally free of charge to those who sign up. Securing a place in the race will now cost £20, instead of £30, as long as the participant understands that all proceeds raised will go towards the 23 Foundation.

Running exclusively for the people of Merseyside, you can complete the route in the knowledge that your support is directly helping those communities you are running through.

As a guideline the suggested amount to raise is £250. will also provide tips and ideas on how to raise sponsorship money to the individuals taking part.

The proceeds raised by those participating in the half marathon will go a way to contributing to the initial target of £2m Jamie Carragher and the 23 Foundation aim to raise. Once achieved, the £2m will be invested and the 23 Foundation will help to provide the children in the local communities of Merseyside with a better life by only ever spending the interest raised on the capital invested. Whether it be helping locals kids recover from illness or helping to provide a framework for achieving their goals.
