18 million seems an awfull lot of money to me, for some one who hasnt made the grade yet. historically wenger has ony ever payed between 8-12 mill for young english talent. 18 seems a tad too much especially for wenger.
Also you have to imagine he is a tricky situation. if results keep going the way they have been the board will be reluctant to give him the cash he wants/needs because all that does is takes it out of the next managers hand. The arsenal board maybe alot of things but its not stupid, the only way we will attract the sort of manager we need is by showing him how much he has to spend and it maybe the one and only time the board would agree to such an expensive overhaul. jesus when the hell did i become so pessimstic?!?!? the life and time of a gooner pfft!

Wenger pls spend dat moni on dis lad. U’ll probabli b spendin just £10M as walcott will go 4 abt £8M. Bring in a LB (Baines), a DMF (Capoue/M’vila/Fellaini), a CB (Yanga Mbiwa) n a strika or 2 (Huntelaar n Michu or Matri) n we’ll b high n dry. Also sell all deadwoods (Arshavin=3 mil, Squilacci=1 mil, Djorou=3 mil, Denilson=free, Chamakh=2 mil, Bendtner=4 mil, Park=2 mil. Total=15 mil. Gud money 2 boost d market).
