Debate has sparked over the pool table here in the Football Transfer Tavern over the future of Paris Saint Germain star Javier Pastore who despite a less than stellar start to life in Ligue 1 has come good of late and has been linked with a move to both AC and Inter Milan.

Whilst the switch to AC Milan may be little more than paper talk, the swap deal with Inter Milan involving Paris Saint Germain target Wesley Sneidjer may possess slightly more merit. Both Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia have commented on the speculation in recent weeks, yet Pastore has come out himself to deny the rumours.

The Argentine playmaker told Sky Sport Italia: “I can certainly say that no one has spoken to me. I’m happy here and I want to stay and improve alongside everybody else. I’m pleased that a big club like Inter is thinking about me, but now is not the time to return to Italy.”

Manager Carlo Ancelotti has also refuted the constant media speculation, stating Pastore can ‘still make a difference for our club.’ He even moved to quash the link with Daniele De Rossi claiming: “we have never thought about him, also because we don’t need to sign anyone else.”

What would you do if you were Ancelotti? Is a Pastore swap for Sneidjer a good move? Vote in our polls below.
