AS the player is definitely for sale.
Given the fact Real Madrid placed a 25 million euro price tag on Kaka’s head it seemed that he would be staying for at least the remainder of the season. Of course back in his prime, that price would have been a steal for Kaka yet now, clubs are left wondering if a decimal point is missing in between the 2 and the 5.
Firstly and according to Marca, LA Galaxy ruled themselves out, stating that the ‘MLS do not pay those prices’ and then AC Milan – who of course still hold the Brazilian as a hero, claiming they could not afford him either. Given that most of the Serie A club’s money is seemingly reserved for Mario Balotelli, it does not seem like Italy will be Kaka’s destination after all.
Real Madrid coach Aitor Karanka has claimed: “The market is open and there are clubs that have acknowledged that they’re in negotiations with him. We’ll see the outcome on 31 January. If nothing has been decided by that date then he’ll continue to be part of our squad. We call up those that are in the best form.”
The “best form” dig of course alludes to the fact Kaka is far from that and after the scintillating displays that Mesut Ozil has been producing in the last month, a place for Kaka in the Los Blancos team looks ever more remote.
