fabregas.jpgArsenal and Manchester United fans are looking disappointed here in the Football Transfer Tavern after it was claimed that Cesc Fabregas is set to stay in Spain – according to The Sun.

The publication report that Fabregas is determined to at least give it another season at Barcelona despite being repeatedly linked with a move away and back to the Premier League where of course he was universally praised.

Despite being less than successful at the Catalan giants thus far, Fabregas claimed: “It has taken a lot for me to get where I am, and I am not thinking about throwing it all away for nothing.

“If Barcelona said that they didn’t want me, that would be another thing — but what I really want is to triumph at Barca.

“That has been dream since I was small. Barcelona is my home and I have always dreamed of winning there.”

He also had words for the fans who spent the second half of the season tormenting him, noting that

“Some people might not like my play but that makes me stronger to improve.

“If the fans boo me, I need to accept it. I am the first one who knew this would be the most important challenge of my life. I just want to play.

Is Fabregas making the right choice by sticking it out with Barca? Let us know your thoughts below.
