At the Football Transfer Tavern we have been stunned by the form of Malaga in the Champions League and Le 10 Sport claim that one of their players is being hunted by a host of clubs.

Malaga of course topped their group in the Champions League and are looking solid in La Liga coming off the back of the winter break having beaten defending champions Real Madrid. The side have been nothing short of brilliant this season and one player has stood out above all others.

Isco at the tender age of 20 has been attracting glances from Chelsea and Manchester City, with both hoping that the financial issues at the club would force a move this January. Malaga however are determined to hold onto their young star, at least until the summer.

Chelsea have of course told Frank Lampard that his time at the club will be over in the summer according to the Telegraph with the Blues looking for additional bodies in their midfield. City for their part are always keen to secure new talent, yet both Premier League outfits will face stiff competition for Isco’s signature.

Real Madrid have also been sniffing round Isco and despite Malaga claiming the player is not for sale at any price, in the summer negotiations look set to commence.

Do you think Isco could do well in the Premier League? Vote in our polls below.
