ngog.jpgFulham fans can hardly pause to pick up their pints inside the Football Transfer Tavern, with sources at Sky Sports reckoning Martin Jol is lining up another loan move – this time for a former Liverpool striker.

Jol has reportedly contacted Bolton Wanderers about the possibility of taking French striker David N’Gog on loan until the end of the season.

Jol is desperate to add more firepower to the Cottagers’ attack, with the West Londoners struggling for form in front of goal in recent weeks.

N’Gog has been disappointing since his move to the Reebok Stadium, managing just seven league goals in two seasons, whilst also suffering relegation with the Trotters.

He spent three years at Liverpool, playing understudy to Fernando Torres for the majority of his spell at Anfield, where his goals to games ratio was far more impressive than his spell at Bolton.

Jol is desperate to strengthen his struggling squad, and provide striking cover for the likes of Dimitar Berbatov, Hugo Rodallega and Mladen Petric.

He has already bought in midfielders Emmanuel Frimpong and Urby Emanuelson on loan, and is hoping to conclude a £5 million deal for Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone before the 11pm deadline.

Will N’Gog be the latest new signing at Craven Cottage? Rate this rumour below.
