Larsson No Go Unleashes Pardew For £6M Top Quality Spurs Star
With the news that Sebastian Larsson’s transfer has fallen through, after the Birmingham player failed to agree personal terms, Newcastle are rumoured to have switched their attention to Tottenham’s Niko Kranjcar.
Alan Pardew is keen to recruit a creative midfielder to help ensure his side’s Premiership status, and having failed to land Larsson, the Magpies boss will move for Kranjcar, who is very much surplus to requirements at Spurs, with only 1 Premier League start to his name this season.
At 26-years-old, Kranjcar certainly still has a lot to offer, and despite being linked with several clubs on the continent, including Bayern Munich, the talented midfielder may prefer to stay in the Premiership and show his critics his true abilities.
First on his “prove-you-wrong” list would almost certainly be current boss, Harry Redknapp, who will allow Kranjcar to leave as he looks to trim his squad.

Spurs would accept bids in the region of £6m, and with at least another 7 years of playing time left in Kranjcar’s legs, at that price Newcastle might just be getting a bit of a bargain.

Now were talking . Kranky would be a tremendous aquisition. Youth, speed and a fair bit of football nous. Sign him up asap. HWTL.

Kranjcar would be a great signing for us. Can’t see it happening though.
We need some new blood fast-as long as they’re good enough. No more over-the-hill leeches.

Even if spurs made a 5 mill profit, it would be a shame to see him go. A quality player.

He looks like my Uncle Mick

Maybe for 4 mill but not for 6 or 7

Not a chance the spuds will sell him for £6m, just wont happen, he is a top top player and is well sought after in Europe, more like £12m but he would be worth it, scores a lot for Croatia, he will end up in Germany or Italy, wish it were true though.
