ince.jpgLiverpool fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are looking on rather sceptically at the latest news from the Daily Express who claim that Inter Milan have now joined the race for one of their top targets.

The club have long been linked with a return move for Tom Ince who is currently on the books at Blackpool and now one of his father’s former clubs are set to move for the young star.

Inter are eyeing up a bid for the player who is looking for a move this summer in order to further his career and has made it perfectly clear it was disappointing to him when all the rumours of a move in the January transfer window failed to materialise.

Now Brendan Rodgers will have to move quickly to land the 21-year-old after Inter stepped up their interest and admitted that landing Aaron Lennon from Tottenham would be a long shot. Liverpool are keen on the player yet will only pay so much to land his services – and will not be held to ransom by Blackpool – which was of course the sticking point last January.

Do you think Ince would follow in his father’s footsteps? Rate this rumour below.

My guess is Ince snr is using his mate Morrati to get Liverpool to increase their offer.
