menezgameiro.jpgIt is a busy day for Liverpool fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern with their club being linked with not one but two Paris Saint Germain players today according to Metro.

It has been claimed that Brendan Rodgers is eyeing a double raid on Paris Saint Germain, not only for a winger but also for a forward to add to his line up in the summer. His main target is thought to be Jeremy Mainz who despite being a firm regular over the last season has now seen himself fall out of favour with Carlo Ancelotti slipping down the pecking order.

Now with only a year left on his current deal he is believed to be open to a move and according to insiders, Rodgers believes he can net the winger at a decent price. Given the French international is only 25 and also has experience in Serie A, this could be a major coup for the Northern Irishman.

This is not the only piece of gossip however as striker Kevin Gameiro has also caught the eye of the Merseyside club. After the arrival of the ego that is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the 25-year-old has seen his playing time severely limited and is open about his desire to seek a move away from the mega-rich Parc Des Princes outfit.  Rodgers feels that the forward could provide competition for Luis Suarez ad Daniel Sturridge after finally giving up on flop Fabio Borini.

Will Liverpool move for the duo in the summer? Which player do you want more Reds fans? Rate this rumour below.
