Malouda Should Be Out The Door At The Bridge Before Benayoun

Sky Sports News are linking Chelsea’s Yossi Benayoun with a move across West London to rivals Fulham.
Martin Jol is keen to take Benayoun on loan with a view to a permanent but surely if Benayoun is to leave this summer the club would prefer a permanent deal.
Jol has a place in his midfield after Danny Murphy departed for Blackburn and is keen to bolster his attacking options. He is an admirer of Benayoun and is even more keen following the Israel internationals performances on loan at Arsenal last season.
It is thought Liverpool are also keeping an eye on the situation and Benayoun could be set for an Anfield return.
My question is, to all Chelsea fans, should Benayoun leave?
Most people will auomatically jump to the conclusion that he should leave because he is 32 and we have signed Hazard, Marin and Oscar and have players like Mata and Ramires but, controversial as it may be, I see worth in Yossi Benayoun.
He is a clever player with great vision and a knack of scoring important goals. Much like many Chelsea players of the past I don’t feel he has been given a good enough chance in the first team.
I was impressed with Benayoun during pre-season last summer and he continued to impress me at Arsenal.
Working on the assumption that RDM will stick to his 4-2-3-1 formation and assuming a front 3 of Hazard on the left, Mata in the middle and Oscar on the right with Torres up top then I see Benayoun as a perfect replacement for Mata in order to keep the Spaniard fresh. He can also replace Hazard (who will surely have to be rested as he settles into the pace of the Premier League) and Oscar likewise. With Ramires and Benayoun used as replacements, assuming Ramires won’t start in one of the two central midfield positions, then this gives our squad good depth.
I would sooner keep Benayoun and allow Malouda to leave as I feel Benayoun offers more and fits the system better.
What do you think Chelsea faithful?

442? where have you been this past decade? 442 is stone-age football. No top club in Europe plays 442

you may be right that Malouda should leave . but the problem with Yossi B isn’t only about his age, it also to do with His state of mind also. Does he want to stay at Chelsea and fight for his play? I don’t think so.

So what about Sturridge, where does Moses (or any of the other strikers being discussed) fit in, and whither Lamps? For me Benayoun should never have arrived.

Yeah, you’re certainly right ‘cos i had wished he (Malouda) lives even before Drog.for me, Benayoun shouldn’t leave.

I think its fairly obvious that Benayoun and Malouda will not be with the Chelsea team. Possibly Essien too. Its time for the new generation now.

Danny should send out for loan, Benayou also loan him, malouda sell him

Ramirez should never be on the bench…and i think crashing the new players directly into the first team is tricky. Benayoun, since he has ‘arrived’ is a good guy, great attitude, good work rate, he wont mind fairly consistent bit roles.

who is sturridge? pls refresh my memory! as for Lampard he should have left when the party is at his peak! through out the preseason i could not differentiate between between Lampard and Malouda. i prefer benayoun to them.

Malouda should be first out the door .
I think we should keep Benayoun as a squad player .
And not sure on Moses if Nando and Sturridge flop this season Moses will be no help we need a decent striker .
