Manchester United take young Dane on trial
Voices are being raised here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it has been claimed by Sport Witness that Manchester United are set to bring another young player in for a trial at Carrington.
The club have been racking up the scouting missions in the past couple of seasons and have seen a host of players train at Carrington in hope of landing themselves a long-term deal with the Red Devils. Now as the international break approaches it is a Danish player who is heading to the ground to impress Sir Alex Ferguson and his staff.
Currently a tender 16 years of age and registered for homeland club OB, Jacob Rasmussen is being lauded as ‘one of the great Danish talents’ around at the minute and the buzz around the player is growing day by day. Given that it is an international break, the training base is quieter than usual and the player who arrived on Sunday will be given every opportunity to shine and impress the watching onlookers at the club.
United of course seem to be on their way to getting their Premier League trophy back after winning 1-0 against Reading at the weekend and after seeing Manchester City fail to dispatch an Everton side yet again and one who had ten men no less, it would take more than a miracle for Roberto Mancini’s men to peg them back now. Putting their European disappointment behind them, United have a busy couple of months to look forward to and will battle for trophies on two fronts with the Red Devils also facing an FA Cup quarter-final replay at Chelsea.
