Everton fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern may have to brace themselves for a last gasp bid for one of their star players according to Metro.
The publication claims that Marouane Fellani is willing to force through his move to Manchester United in order to link up with former boss David Moyes.
This, as one of our punters quips, has been one of the sagas of the summer and quite frankly, we are getting fed up of it!
Given David Moyes has seen two bids rejected for the midfielder already, he either has an improved bid up his sleeve or is counting on the player himself to push the move through.
As we all know, deadline day can throw up some really exciting and surprising last minute deals, but this will not be one of them, with the Belgian midfielder being linked with a move to Old Trafford pretty much the whole summer.
One player who will not be joining up with Moyes however is Leighton Baines, who has been told he will not be leaving Roberto Martinez’s side, and despite David Moyes being willing to pay up to £20 million for him, Baines will not be sold at any price.
After United’s defeat to bitter rivals Liverpool yesterday, it became even clearer that United needed a creative central midfielder and the pressure from the media and fans could well see Everton squeeze that little bit of extra cash out of Moyes.
