Earlier in the season here at the Football Transfer Tavern, Cristiano Ronaldo caused a huge stir when he claimed to be unhappy at Real Madrid, and now it is clear exactly why. Add to this the Daily Mirror‘s claims over a move to Paris Saint Germain and you have a huge debate.

Our punters have stopped everything they are doing to discuss the future of the Real Madrid star, who feels unsupported by the club. Hardly a shocker really considering club captain Iker Casillas chose to vote for Sergio Ramos ahead of Ronaldo in the recent Ballon d’Or votes. Consider this along with the infighting at the club and the attitude of the Spanish media to Portuguese players and you have a very ‘sad’ Cristiano.

As we all know now, Ronaldo is represented by Jorge Mendes who also represents a host of other Real Madrid players and manager Jose Mourinho. The super agent has has once again held talks with PSG representatives in regards to the possible sale of Ronaldo.

Real have also been linked with future swoops for both Gareth Bale and Radamel Falcao, and a sale of Ronaldo may finance this. Los Blancos may wish to keep the Portuguese superstar but the Spanish champions risk losing him on a free if he runs down his contract in the capital.

Do you think CR7 could move to Paris? Vote in our polls below.
