 Fulham v Swansea

Swansea completed the unthinkable last weekend by beating Man City 1-0 last weekend.

It was Luke Moore’s header which was the difference in the 83rd minute.

Fulham suffered defeat last to Villa last Sunday. It was Villa’s Wienmann with a 90th minute header which beating Schwarzer.

Brede Hangeland has covered 153.7 miles for Fulham this season. In his 28 appearances for Fulham this season he covered on average 5.4 miles.

According to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index. Hangeland has completed a defensive duty every eight minutes so far this season. He’s made 119 interceptions, 22 blocks and made 170 passes.

It was Victor Moses who secured a point for Wigan in the 68th minute, against Norwich last weekend.

Wigan had 18 shots in total against Norwich, but it was Victor Moses who sealed the deal, he currently has five goals to his name this season.

West Brom were on the receiving end of a Wayne Rooney master class last weekend.

Rooney scored in both halves and took his Premier League tally this season to 20 goals, six behind van Persie who leads the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index with 26 goals.

The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index shows Hugo Rodellega has the most assists for Wigan this season, with five.

James McArthur covered, 6.5 miles last weekend, the highest individual total for Wigan last weekend against Norwich.

Maynor Figueroa is still Wigan’s Marathon man, he’s now covered 153.2 miles. According the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, only Gary Caldwell is the same league as Figueroa, Caldwell has covered 144 miles in his 26 appearances.

Mohammed Diame, on average, completes an attacking duty every 4.6 minutes. Impressive considering he’s spent 1,666 minutes on the pitch this season.

Ben Foster has appeared in every one of West Brom’s 28 games so far this season. According to EA SPORTS Player Performance Index Foster makes a save every 18 minutes.

Youssouf Mulumbu has consistently been top for distance covered in the West Brom team. The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index show us Mulumbu, has covered on average, 5.75 miles in his 26 appearances for West Brom this season. Prediction 0-3.

 Wolves v Man Utd

Wolves lost a potentially crucial game 2-0 against fellow relegation candidates Blackburn in their last Premier League match

Jamie O’Hara covered the most ground for Wolves in that game with 6.54 miles, although Wolves were out run by Blackburn by 63.01 miles to 60.42 miles

Manchester United went top of the Barclays Premier League in the last round of games, taking advantage of their neighbours slip up at Swansea and winning 2-0 against West Brom

Wayne Rooney scored both goals for United in that game and covered 4.9 miles, second only to Ashley Young’s 4.97 miles as United’s furthest runner

Rooney’s goals were his 19th and 20th of the season, and the England striker is second only to Robin van Persie in the overall rankings of the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index

Rooney has had exactly 100 shots at goal, converting into 20 goals and with 66 shots on target

Only Yaya Toure completed more passes in their opponent’s half in the last round of games, with Carrick completing 51 against West Brom

Both sets of fans can expect to see a lot of balls into the box, as Manchester United’s Luis Nani has delivered more than any other player in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index with 116 while Wolves’ Matt Jarvis is third with 90 crosses so far this season

Nani is also one of two Manchester United player’s to have contributed ten or more assists this season, with Antonio Valencia also having done so. Only five other players in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index have achieved this.

Meanwhile by time on the pitch Adam Hammill is the most frequent crosser of the ball, putting in a cross ever 14 minutes 48 seconds, and Ashley Young is tenth with a cross every 20 minutes 40 seconds. Prediction 0-3.
 Newcastle v Norwich

Newcastle lost a goal lead against Arsenal in their last Premier League game, losing 2-1

Hatem Ben Arfa scored the opener for Newcastle, and now has three goals in the Barclays Premier League from just 16 shots at goal

Yohan Cabaye covered the most ground for Newcastle in that game with 5.27 miles as Newcastle out ran Arsenal by 50.15 miles to 48.75 miles

Both Newcastle full backs are in the top ten defender’s for crossing the ball in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index having delivered 76 and 50 respectively putting them 2nd and 7th place. The only other club to have two defenders in the top ten are Spurs with Assou-Ekotto and Walker in 4th and 5th place

Norwich were held to a 1-1 draw in their last game against Wigan

David Fox covered the most ground in that game with 6.54 miles as Norwich out tan Wigan by 62.35 miles to 59.41 miles

Fox is now 5th in the Canaries’ distance charts, having covered 119.8 miles so far this season

Wesley Hoolahan scored for Norwich in that game with his third goal of the season, coming from 26 shots at goal with exactly half on target.

Hoolahan also has three assists to his name this season, and is third in the list for Canaries for overall distance covered with 130 miles covered.

Norwich remain the team to have covered the most distance collectively this season, with 1879 miles altogether. Newcastle had led this table earlier in the the season, but have now slipped to sixth in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index ranking with 1811 miles. Prediction 2-2.
