QPR join chase for Swansea forward

It’s another day and another story about Harry Redknapp and his Queens Park Rangers outfit here at the Football Transfer Tavern with news this time courtesy of the Daily Mail.

The side who are desperately struggling at the foot of the Premier League table are in the chase for Swansea City forward Danny Graham. The 27-year-old striker is on his way out of current club Swansea and Harry Redknapp may feel he could well make the difference between surviving the drop and not.

As with everything at QPR at the minute, this is not a given. The £4 million rated player is being chased by a host of clubs, and Sunderland are currently the leaders of the pack and firm favourites to land the striker. Even if that move should fall through, Norwich, Aston Villa and Reading are waiting in the wings.

Whilst pouring a pint, our landlord points out that luring the Swansea player to Loftus Road could be a massive ask, given that the player wishes to enhance his career and remain in the Premier League, not facing the possibility of a drop down to the Championship, where he first started hitting the heights for previous club Watford.

Can QPR get Danny Graham? Vote in our polls below.
