Everywhere you turn there is talk of crisis, wolves at doors and loan deals rather than mega buck transfers. First Portsmouth bought it, Liverpool are days away from a points deduction and Manchester United now join the fray, whether these choose to acknowledge it or not.

Very few Premiership clubs are living within their means, even those who have evaded the evil clutches of a foreign backer.

Here are the figures that speak volumes.

ARSENAL: SOLD OUT. Very long waiting list!

ASTON VILLA: Selling half-season tickets from December 26 with prices £205-£315. Offering an “Autumn Five” deal, five games for £100-£165.

BIRMINGHAM: Season tickets available all round the ground, £476-£766.

BLACKBURN ROVERS: Season tickets available all round the ground, £209-£369. Half-season tickets available December.

BLACKPOOL: Tickets are available on a match-by-match basis.

BOLTON: Season tickets available, £299-£419, and half-season tickets available from December.

CHELSEA: SOLD OUT

EVERTON: Season tickets available in all stands, £528-£631.

FULHAM: Tickets available in most areas, £310-£600.

LIVERPOOL: SOLD OUT. Long waiting list

MANCHESTER CITY: Packages available on a match-by-match basis.

MANCHESTER UNITED: Season tickets available, £495-£735.

NEWCASTLE: Season tickets available in most areas, £429-£975.

STOKE CITY: Season tickets available in Main Stand at £423.

SUNDERLAND: Half-season tickets available from December, £215-£275.

TOTTENHAM: SOLD OUT. Long waiting list.

WEST BROM: Still available in most areas, £315-£393.

WEST HAM: Season tickets available, £473-£623.

WIGAN: Season tickets available in most areas, £184-£217.

WOLVES: Season tickets, £527-£635.
