The deadline day signing of Maraoune Fellaini may not have got Manchester United fans over excited, but Wayne Rooney was certainly pleased.
When Fellaini came off the bench to make his debut at the weekend, he was reunited with Rooney for the first time since the pair got arrested for attempting to rob Macauley Caulkin’s – sorry, ‘Kevin McCallister’s’ house in 1990 – and then again for trying to rob a toy store in 1992.
A lot has happened since then – and no doubt the pair will be hoping to have more success on the pitch than they did at outsmarting a 10-year-old boy!
This may be the first time Fellaini has been credited with being a movie lookalike, but it’s becoming something of a routine for Rooney.
The England man can now add Home Alone 1 and 2 to his portfolio of movie’s in which he stars, alongside Shrek, Shrek 2, Shrek the Third and Shrek Happily Ever After.
