Third time lucky for Chelsea in transfer pursuit?

hulk.jpgIt has not exactly come as a shock to us in the Football Transfer Tavern that according to Metro Hulk has grown fed up with life in Russia and is looking for a move away and potentially to the Premier League.

Long ago Chelsea were linked with the player and it is this link that has emerged yet again. Of course the West London club will be in the hunt for a forward in the summer and whilst most bets are on Edinson Cavani or Radamel Falcao rocking up at the Bridge, Hulk is not to be discounted.

The 26-year-old is imposing and a top class centre forward and given that he cost £40 million for Zenit St Petersburg to land him from Porto last summer, the price of convincing the club to sell will not be any less than that. It is thought that Hulk has himself requested a transfer and is refusing to be drawn on questions over his future, saying: “My future, I love the Premier League. It is a great competition with great clubs. If I have time I watch the Premier League.”

Clearly from this we have deduced that Hulk enjoys our league and could well be angling for a move and given that Chelsea have twice before failed to land him it may well prove third time lucky for the Blues.

Can Chelsea land Hulk at the third time of asking? Rate this rumour below.

Hulk is not performing well if played as a lone striker or else he operates from the wings then you see best of him but, with Chelsea playing with lone striker I can’t just see any of these three being dropped to bench( Mata, Hazard & Oscar) meanwhile Lukaku, De bryune, Piazon and Davila may return from loan
