jovetic.jpgJust about every day here in the Football Transfer Tavern we see Arsenal linked to yet another player and it seems that the media and our punters are more than a little bit excited at the news that Arsene Wenger has a rumoured transfer kitty of £70 million to spend.

The French manager has notoriously been known for his shall we say money saving traits when it comes to transfer windows and has been reluctant to spend big money on just about any player – or on their wages.

That has seen the club miss out on a host of players who have then gone to Premier League rivals and been sensational for them, not to mention added to the problem of players leaving due to the lack of trophies and perceived ambition at the club. Wenger has reportedly given up on his old ways and is not only looking to spend big on a star man up top, but also on a centre back, a goalkeeper and a defensive midfielder. Add to this the fact that several players will be shipped out to make room for the new ones and it will be an interesting summer at the Emirates Stadium.

None of these player impress me I would rather go for the tall PSG player Sakho and Gundogan and buy one top forward player like Cavani and so on players that wil bring value to the club but these cheap players are just goin to waste our time and money so buy big and win big just like City!

u dont impress too… Jovetic is a high quality player, with a vision for goal, aggressive a striker any club would want to buy…….

you re pathetic. you probably want gundogan after only watching him against madrid. if he comes and have an average 1st season, you would want him sold.
