Metro seem to be under the impression that Luis Suarez will be remaining a Liverpool player this season as they claim he is in line to make a sensational return for the club.
As we all know, Suarez has been linked with a move away from the Reds all summer long.
Not only has Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger quite frankly embarrassed both himself and his club by trying and failing to land the player with a series of ludicrous bids, Real Madrid are also thought to be keen on the striker.
Suarez did try to push for a move to Arsenal but has made no secret of his desire to join Real Madrid who are in need of an out and out number nine before the transfer window closes.
Despite all of this, the Uruguayan forward knows that he is more than likely going to stay at Anfield for at least one more season under Brendan Rodgers and could now make his return from suspension against Manchester United in the Capital One Cup third round.
Not only is the tie between Manchester United and Liverpool scintillating enough, as one of our punters quips, the return of Suarez will only further fuel what will no doubt be the tie of the round.
Liverpool fans will no doubt be pleased that their star man is remaining with the club, but for Arsenal, it leaves Wenger in a rather shaky position, with the window soon to close and what seems like another transfer target rejecting him on a daily basis.
