Sunderland Won’t Prize Norwich’s Holt From Poppyland!

has made it clear that will not be leaving Norwich under any circumstances, report The Sun.

Holt will have undoubtedly caught the eye of many top flight managers following his debut season in the . Holt has taken to the challenge like a duck to water, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.

The 30 year old bagged his second goal in the FA cup today to make it nine in all competitions, and send The Canaries through to the fifth round.

A true journeyman, Norwich is Holt’s tenth club. He has previously plied his trade in The , League 1, League 2 and The , as well many of England’s lower leagues. Somewhat bizarrely, he also spent a season in Singapore at Sengkang Marine, where he scored an impressive fifteen goals in seveteen games.

This acted as an inspiration for him to succeed, and great success is what he’s achieved. For the full article, read this very insightful report from The Daily Mail.

On the pitch, Holt has all the qualities a manager looks for in a good centre forward. Strong in the air, effective hold up play and a clinical finish are a few of the qualities that have served Holt and Norwich so well this term.

Possible interested parties may include . Martin O’ Neill is on the lookout for a new striker following ’s facial injury. Another club who lack firepower up front are who may be attracted to Norwich’s frontman.

It is very unlikely Paul Lambert would be willing to let his star striker leave, although if a bid of around £5 million came in, could he refuse?
