3 Credible Options For Becks Post Galaxy – Is One Celtic?

David Beckham has announced that he will leave LA Galaxy at the end of the MLS season next month. With a whirlwind of speculation about where the former England captain will end his career we have come up with three possible options for Becks’ last hurrah.
Paris St.Germain
The mega rich Parisians certainly have the capital to support Becks’ lavish financial demands, and would allow the former England skipper to team up once more with Carlo Ancelotti, whom he played under during his first loan spell at AC Milan. The club’s big ambitions could also mean that Beckham is able to end his career with some meaningful silverware after five years playing in the MLS. Also with the Champs Elysée on the club’s doorstep, the 37-year-old may little difficulty in fulfilling Mrs. Beckham’s shopping habits.
AC Milan
Having already had two loan spells at the Italian giants, Beckham would certainly welcome a return to the San Siro. With the Rossoneri struggling in mid table this season, the influence of someone like Beckham may provide the kick start that their season has been lacking. With Beckham’s work rate and passing ability he may be seen as a short term solution to fill the void left by the departed Andrea Pirlo. Additionally a move to the San Siro should help keep Victoria busy in Milan’s thriving fashion industry.
Celtic
A fairytale move back to the UK could be on the cards, even more so if Snoop Dogg is to be believed. The US rapper was reportedly quoted this week saying that he would encourage Beckham to join the Hoops should he buy a stake in the club. With no real big games left for Celtic in the league Scottish calendar anymore following Rangers’ dramatic fall from grace, the ageing Beckham may be used sparingly as an extra dimension to Celtic’s Champions League campaign. However Becks hardly mastered the Spanish language in the four years that he spent at the Bernabeu, just how he’d cope with Glaswegian remains to be seen.

This reads like it’s supposed to be a joke but it’s hard to tell because it’s not funny.
Assuming for a sec that the article is serious, no “credible” club would touch Becks with a barge pole unless they wanted publicity in either America or England as no other country would be interested in a (n admittedly pretty) footballing has-been.
As for understanding the Glaswegian accent, I’ve heard Beckham talking and still haven’t worked out if he’s speaking English. Could it be arranged for him to come with sub-titles?

Celtic don’t want, nor do they need him. Becham’s best days were 10 years ago and back then he was just a one trick pony.
