Shaw tells punters that Chelsea have demonstrated the most interest in signing Paulinho but Liverpool and Manchester City are still monitoring the Brazil playmaker with an eye to a possible future move.
Paulinho has stated in the past that he is happy with life in Brazil but despite this, the lure of playing in Europe and the money he could earn may persuade him to move in the near future.
There is also interest from Inter Milan as recently reported in Gazzetta Dello Sport with the Nerazzuri looking to replace Wesley Sneijder in the centre of midfield at the San Siro after the Dutchman fled for Galatasaray.
If Inter follow up their interest in Paulinho in the short period before the transfer window shuts, that could force a bidding war with the Premier League parties.
For the meantime, it seems likely that the 24-year-old will remain in Brazil with a £15 million price tag hanging around his neck.
