[![Cuadrado](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Cuadrado-500x323.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Cuadrado.jpg?admin)Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are taking full advantage of happy hour, after hearing one of Jose Mourinho’s worst signings is set to be offloaded.

*[The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11943099/Chelsea-news-Jose-Mourinho-transfer-plans-could-be-boosted-by-selling-Juan-Cuadrado-for-16million.html)*[state that Juventus want to sign loanee Juan Cuadrado on a permanent deal in January](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11943099/Chelsea-news-Jose-Mourinho-transfer-plans-could-be-boosted-by-selling-Juan-Cuadrado-for-16million.html), in a move that could aid Mourinho’s ambitions of adding to his misfiring Blues squad.

It’s added that [Chelsea want £18m for the player](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11943099/Chelsea-news-Jose-Mourinho-transfer-plans-could-be-boosted-by-selling-Juan-Cuadrado-for-16million.html) but are willing to accept Juventus’ cut-price offer, as Mourinho wants immediate cash after the Blues hierarchy made it clear they [would not approve a vast spending-spree in the New Year](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11943099/Chelsea-news-Jose-Mourinho-transfer-plans-could-be-boosted-by-selling-Juan-Cuadrado-for-16million.html); despite Chelsea’s woeful start to the season.

Chelsea will instead operate with a one-in, one-out policy- which means the sale of Cuadrado will aid their transfer plans, as the club continue to eye Everton defender John Stones and Paris Saint-Germain’s Marquinhos.

The Blues signed Cuadrado in January for £23.3m but the Colombian only made four Premier League states, becoming a major disappointment for the Chelsea fans at the bar who were excited to see the 2014 World Cup star perform in their colours.
