[![Reus](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Reus-500x318.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Reus.jpg?admin)Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are encouraged by news in the [Daily Star](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/423046/Marco-Reus-Chelsea-Arsenal-Liverpool-Man-United-transfer-news) as Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus is reportedly pushing for a move to the Emirates Stadium.

It has emerged that the flamboyant winger wants to work with Arsene Wenger and this could be crucial in him finally deciding on his next destination.

The Reus transfer saga has continued since last summer and there has been countless stories claiming that he has decided on his next club.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been credited with an interest in the German superstar whilst Arsenal also face competition from Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old has a buy out clause of just £20 million which can be activated next summer, and Wenger, who is a big fan of the German international, is expected to make move.

Bayern Munich, who have previously stolen Robert Lewandowski and Mario Gotze from Dortmund, have pulled out of the race as they already have enough attacking options.
