# 3-4-3: If Conte picks this XI, Chelsea will surely demolish Crystal Palace this weekend

**Life is pretty good for Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern at present.**

The capitulation of their big Premier League rivals have just added to the enjoyment, and there seem to be more than one reason for the Blues fans to be enjoying a beer or two every weekend.

Even our landlord has stated that the ten point gap seems to be to much for anyone to bridge, and he cannot see the trophy ending up anywhere but Stamford Bridge come the end of the season.

This statement from our knowledgable landlord has no doubt thrilled the Chelsea faithful in the Tavern and with another London derby on the horizon, there could well be another goal glut from a team that has looked simply fantastic this season.

The last time these two met was in December at Selhurst Park and a certain Diego Costa saw Chelsea come away with a 1-0 win, in what proved to be Alan Pardew’s last game in charge of the South London outfit.

With Chelsea being the home side in this one, nobody in the Transfer Tavern really expects a close fixture although there has been a bit of debate around the side that Conte should go with, and many punters have had their say on the matter.

Here is the common thoughts of who Conte will go with come the weekend in his XI…..

## GK: Thibaut Courtois

The undisputed Chelsea number 1 and our landlord doesn’t expect this to change for this fixture.

## CB: César Azpilicueta

The unsung hero of Chelsea’s back three, Azpilicueta has been sensational for Chelsea this season.

## CB: David Luiz

Vital to the 3-4-3 system employed by Conte, Chelsea fans in the Tavern were pleasantly surprised by the improvement shown by Luiz, since his return to Stamford Bridge.

## CB: Gary Cahill

Suspended for England’s World Cup qualifier was news to Chelsea’s ears, as they get a fresher Cahill back from international duty.

## RWB: Victor Moses

A player that has really flourished this season, Moses will look to show his first club how much he has developed come Saturday.

## CM: N’Golo Kante

It’s fair to say that if 90% of the Earth is covered by water, the rest is covered by Kante – the Frenchman has been touted by many in the Tavern as the best midfielder in the Premier League.

## CM: Nemanja Matic

The Serbian has put last season’s nightmare behind him with a series of consistent performances this season.

He looks excellent alongside N’Golo Kante in the Blues midfield.

## LWB: Marcos Alonso

The Spaniard has gone to lengths to justify the £24 million that Chelsea paid for him last summer, much to the surprise of our landlord who simply did not see Alonso as worth that amount previously.

## RF: Pedro

The undervalued member of Chelsea’s front three, Chelsea fans in the Tavern are expecting another prominent performance from the former Barca man this weekend.

## CF: Diego Costa

The match winner last time these sides met, our landlord expects Costa to make the headlines in someway during this fixture.

## LF: Willian

With ambiguity around Eden Hazard’s muscle injury and a 10 point gap to play with, the Chelsea faithful in the Tavern feel Conte should go with Willian in a game they expect to win easily.
