Romania were ranked 7th in the FIFA world rankings late last year, having enjoyed a successful qualifying campaign.
Having now slipped to a more realistic (but still surprising) 19th, the resurgent Romanian’s are set for their first major tournament since 2008.
Their starlet – University of Craiova attacking midfielder Andrei Ivan – will turn heads this summer.
