Mauro Icardi has established himself as one of the best strikers in world football over the past season or so. He currently has 13 goals and two assists to his name in the Serie A this term, after scoring 29 goals in 32 appearances in the last campaign.
Chelsea have had to make use of the likes of Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata, who have both struggled to produce a consistent flow of goals, which had a negative effect on Chelsea’s early-season title push.
So, with the Blues desperately needing to bring in an accomplished striker this month, they should look no further than Icardi, as he has all the ingredients to become one of the world’s best and has already displayed his incredible finishing ability both in Europe and domestically.
