# Agent confirms Arsenal are keen on midfield star

![Jorginho](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Jorginho-500x349.jpg?admin)Nervous Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern preparing for a huge Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich this evening are distracting themselves by discussing a tasty rumour from the continent.

[Reports from Italy confirm Arsenal sent scouts to watch Napoli recently](https://www.football-italia.net/75248/jorginho-agent-coy-arsenal), with the agent of midfielder Jorginho, [Joao Santos, stating an ‘irrefutable’ offer would catch their attention.](https://www.football-italia.net/75248/jorginho-agent-coy-arsenal)

> “I don’t know if the Arsenal scouts were in Genoa for Jorginho. I’m not surprised that the player is doing very well – especially in light of the change of Coach \[Maurizio Sarri replacing Rafa Benitez\] –  and has top clubs interested in him.”
>
> “One of the head scouts of Arsenal is well-known, and so I know he was at Marassi for the Napoli match. Right now we’re more thinking about Jorginho at Napoli than the transfer market.”
>
> “If Napoli receive an irrefutable offer for Jorginho in January then it’s normal that we’d make our assessments.”

The 23-year-old is believed to be a prime target for Arsene Wenger in January, as the Gunners continue their quest to secure the Premier League title.

**Arsenal fans, how much would you expect Jorginho to cost in January? Let us know in the comments below!**
