# Arsenal: Fans react to Alexandre Lacazette ending his goal drought

**Arsenal showed signs that they are getting back to their best as they ran out as comfortable 4-0 winners against Newcastle.**

Goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe would have undoubtedly pleased Mikel Arteta but a late show of class made the win even more impressive. The Gunners put [35 passes together](https://twitter.com/afcstuff/status/1229114388084350978) with every player touching the ball before Mesut Ozil got the decisive touch to increase the lead to three – his [first goal of the season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mesut-ozil/leistungsdaten/spieler/35664).

There was also reward for another player who has found goals difficult to come by this term, Alexandre Lacazette, who found the top corner in the dying moments of the match. His happiness at ending a [nine-game goal drought](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alexandre-lacazette/leistungsdaten/spieler/93720) was clear for all to see, with a beaming smile seen across his face as he celebrated along with his equally ecstatic teammates.

Getting the Frenchman back on form could be a huge boost for Arsenal should Arteta be able to do so, but promising performances from a number of players should also fill the Gunners’ boss with confidence.

Supporters are certainly feeling happier after the resounding win and reacted to Lacazette scoring his [fifth league goal](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alexandre-lacazette/leistungsdaten/spieler/93720) of the season.

***Arsenal fans, how happy were you with Lacazette finally finding the target after more than two months without a goal? Do you think he has an important role to play from now until the end of the season?***
