# Arsenal: Fans miss Alexis Sanchez despite him leaving for Manchester United

**Loads of Arsenal fans miss Alexis Sanchez despite the Chilean international leaving the north London club for Manchester United.**

This comes after a post from the club’s official [Twitter](https://twitter.com/Arsenal/status/1246356197982298114) page showed footage of Sanchez scoring an impressive goal against Liverpool in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium in a 4-1 win back in 2015, as per [BBC](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/32097847).

The 31-year old scored 80 goals in all competitions for the Gunners and also provided 45 assists in 166 appearances, according to [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alexis-sanchez/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/40433/plus/0?saison=&verein=11&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=). This means that he provided a goal or an assist in three-quarters of his games at the club.

However, Sanchez decided to join United in a [swap](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42697836) deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and has since scored five goals and made nine assists in 45 appearances for the Red Devils, as per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alexis-sanchez/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/40433/plus/0?saison=&verein=985&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=).

Incidentally, both players have been shipped out on [loan](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9813725/alexis-sanchez-joins-inter-milan-man-utd/) to the Serie A this campaign, with Sanchez joining Inter Milan and Mkhitaryan [leaving](https://www.asroma.com/en/news/2019/9/mkhitaryan-completes-loan-move) for AS Roma.

Despite moving to Manchester, these Gooners still miss Sanchez with one supporter calling him an ‘entity’:
