In new rules set by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, there will now be [reduced capacities](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/rangers-fc-news/st-mirren-boxing-day-spfl/) for SPFL matches due to fears over the spreading of the virus, starting at Ibrox on Boxing Day.

Nonetheless, while the cases have not reached a critical level for football to be stopped, McGregor wants to still see matches played at the moment, and a lot of Light Blues supporters are agreeing with him.
