# Everton: Fans rage over Anthony Martial transfer update

**Some Everton fans were left raging as a transfer update emerged on Anthony Martial.**

As per [The Daily Express](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1473849/Man-Utd-Everton-Inter-Milan-Anthony-Martial-transfer-news-latest-update-SNT), the Toffees and Inter Milan are both interested in signing the Manchester United forward before the summer window ends.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team are looking to recoup a fee in the region of [£50m](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1473849/Man-Utd-Everton-Inter-Milan-Anthony-Martial-transfer-news-latest-update-SNT) for his signature.

Martial has had a history of injury problems while at Old Trafford, and especially struggled in the 2020/21 season ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/anthony-martial/verletzungen/spieler/182877)).

When he was on the pitch last term, he only managed to score four goals in 22 games in the Premier League ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/anthony-martial/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/182877/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=GB1&pos=&trainer_id=)), and so the Merseyside club should be expecting a lot more from the 25-year-old if they are going to pay around £50m for him.
