**Indicative of the meteoric rise of Leicester City, the Transfer Tavern had never heard of N’Golo Kante this time last year. Now, he’s pretty much all that’s talked about.**

Growing ever bitter London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea need little reason to argue, though reports from the [Daily Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/paris-saint-germain-tempt-leicester-8119298?) have led them into some strange form of consoling each other.

It’s amazing for the other punters to see.

That’s because both capital counterparts are [reported](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/paris-saint-germain-tempt-leicester-8119298?) to be falling behind French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the race to land the combative 25-year old star.

The former Caen midfielder is [believed](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3538609/Leicester-midfielder-N-Golo-Kante-thought-available-20million-PSG-Arsenal-Tottenham-Chelsea-chase-him.html) to have a [£20m](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3538609/Leicester-midfielder-N-Golo-Kante-thought-available-20million-PSG-Arsenal-Tottenham-Chelsea-chase-him.html) buyout clause inserted into the deal he penned in the East Midlands last summer, with the French champions understood to be offering a lucrative five-year deal.

His agents are [said](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/paris-saint-germain-tempt-leicester-8119298?) to have already held talks with movers, shakers and decision makers in the French capital over the prospect of a blockbuster switch to Parc de Princes.

**Do Leicester have any hope at all of keeping a hold of Kante?**
