**The fires of the North London rivalry need very little fanning, though the Transfer Tavern has erupted into ferocious debate following reports from [ESPN](https://www.espnfc.co.uk/story/2880238/arsenal-and-tottenham-tracking-hull-teenager-josh-tymon-sources).**

The mere notion of both Arsenal and Spurs battling it out for the same player is one to get tempers flaring amongst the punters in it seems.

It is [claimed](https://www.espnfc.co.uk/story/2880238/arsenal-and-tottenham-tracking-hull-teenager-josh-tymon-sources) that both the Gunners and their not-so-friendly neighbours are plotting swoops on Hull City for highly rated defender Josh Tymon this summer.

With the Humberside outfit facing a crunch playoff final against Sheffield Wednesday this week, the future of the 17-year old remains an ambiguous one.

There is a dearth in available options at left-back, with Arsenal in particular [linked](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-make-new-transfer-bid-7228412) with Leicester City ace Ben Chilwell in an effort to bolster ranks in that department.

West Ham and Liverpool are also [believed](https://www.espnfc.co.uk/story/2880238/arsenal-and-tottenham-tracking-hull-teenager-josh-tymon-sources) to have run the rule over the prospect, who only made his first-team debut this season for the Tigers.

**Will Spurs finally finish above Arsenal under Pochettino?**
