# Arsenal eye £50 million Liverpool star man ahead of shocking switch

[![FBL-ENG-PR-MAN UTD-LIVERPOOL](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Man-U-3-0-Liverpool--500x350.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Man-U-3-0-Liverpool-.jpg?admin)Liverpool fans look ready to throw up here in the Football Transfer Tavern as [Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2015/03/31/arsenal-clear-to-seal-raheem-sterling-transfer-liverpool-ready-to-sell-5128333/#mv-b) seem to think Arsenal are readying a bid for Raheem Sterling.

The winger is of course in a massive contract dispute with Liverpool and after [reportedly](https://metro.co.uk/2015/03/31/arsenal-clear-to-seal-raheem-sterling-transfer-liverpool-ready-to-sell-5128333/#mv-b) turning down £180,000 per week, we think he simply wants to leave the Reds – although why he would go to Arsenal in a very sideways and back move is beyond us.

That has not deterred Arsene Wenger, who seems to think that £50 million could be enough to land the England international – with whispers that Brendan Rodgers and his board have tired of the attitude Sterling is giving them and some serious consideration actually being given to selling the player.

### Liverpool fans. Do you think that Sterling is someone you should sell if he refuses to pen a new deal? Would he even be interested in Arsenal? Let us know your thoughts below.
