# Massive news for Arsenal fans, £50m-rated striker hints at possible move to England

![Lewandowski](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/4582584-500x319.jpg)Arsenal fans assembling by the Transfer Tavern pool tables are getting giddy with excitement following some sensational news they’ve overheard.

[*The Sun*](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/7119690/Bayern-Munich-striker-Robert-Lewandowski-in-the-sights-of-misfiring-Arsenal.html)states the Gunners are on red alert to secure the services of Bayern Munich’s incredible striker Robert Lewandowski, after he dropped a major transfer hint stating he’d like to play in England one day.

Arsenal are desperate to improve their misfiring attacking lines this summer as their top-scorers are Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez on just 12 goals, whilst the former has not scored in the Premier League since a brace at Anfield in mid-January.

Lewandowski is widely regarded as one of the best striker’s in European football and has scored 63 goals in 92 appearances for Bayern Munich since moving across Germany from arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund.

Arsenal will have to splash the cash though and any transfer is likely to be a record fee for the Gunners, as it’s expected [Lewandowski will set them back at least £50m.](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/transfernews/7119690/Bayern-Munich-striker-Robert-Lewandowski-in-the-sights-of-misfiring-Arsenal.html)

At 27 though, Lewandowski is approaching the prime years of his career and our landlord believes it’s this signing that would end Arsenal’s 12-year wait for a Premier League crown.

**Arsenal fans, should you go all out to secure the signature of Lewandowski this summer? Let us know in the comments below!**
