# Arsenal: Fans beg club to sign Gent’s Jonathan David after transfer links emerge

**Arsenal fans were begging the club to sign ‘[wonderkid](https://twitter.com/gunnerbaha1/status/1230462193650540544?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)‘ Jonathan David after reports emerged linking the club with a move for the Gent attacking midfielder.**

According to reports (via [Jeunes Footeaux](https://www.jeunesfooteux.com/OL-Everton-Arsenal-Leipzig-Mercato-Jonathan-David-affole-l-Europe_a40122.html)), the Gunners are one of a number of clubs, who are chasing the Canada international. However, they face competition from Premier League rivals Everton as well as a number of clubs from France and Italy.
