# Arsenal: Fans call for club to sign Wilfried Zaha

**Arsenal fans are calling for the club to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha London rivals Crystal Palace.**

The calls come after a video was shared online of the player’s assist for Nicolas Pepe’s goal in Ivory Coast’s 3-1 win over DR Congo yesterday. After some superb skill and dribbling on the wing, Zaha crossed it for Pepe, who flicked it in for the side’s second goal [(via Twitter)](https://twitter.com/DailyAFC/status/1183453621519814662)

The Ivory Coast international was a target for the north London club in the summer window, reportedly being made the club’s number one target (per the [Daily Star](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-news-wilfried-zaha-ryan-17221367)) with Crystal Palace slapping a £100m asking price on the player, per the [Guardian](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/may/16/wilfried-zaha-crystal-palace-champions-league-priced-off-market-offers). However, the club opted to sign his international teammate Pepe from French club Lille.

The 23-year-old has struggled with life at the Emirates Stadium so far, scoring just one goal in his 10 games in all competitions [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nicolas-pepe/leistungsdaten/spieler/343052).
