# Arsenal: Fans disagree with Matteo Guendouzi’s value in Transfermarkt charts

**Some Arsenal fans have lashed out at Matteo Guendouzi after the Frenchman featured top of a list comparing players under 21.**

According to [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.com/spieler-statistik/wertvollstespieler/marktwertetop/plus/0/galerie/0?ausrichtung=alle&spielerposition_id=7&altersklasse=u21&jahrgang=0&land_id=0&kontinent_id=0&yt0=Show), the France youth international is the most valuable central midfielder under the age of 21 in world football. He tops the chart with a value of €50m (roughly £42m) with Manchester City’s Phil Foden coming in second with a value of €30m (roughly £25.2m). [Joe Willock](https://www.transfermarkt.com/spieler-statistik/wertvollstespieler/marktwertetop/plus/0/galerie/0?ausrichtung=alle&spielerposition_id=7&altersklasse=u21&jahrgang=0&land_id=0&kontinent_id=0&yt0=Show) features in third place in the list with a value of €18m (roughly £15.1m).

Guendouzi has earned the wrath of supporters in recent weeks due to a mixture of his poor form and attitude off the pitch. He was involved in a heated row with head coach Mikel Arteta and some of the coaching staff during the winter break [(via The Telegraph)](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/02/17/matteo-guendouzi-absence-due-heated-row-mikel-arteta-dubai/). The 20-year-old was lambasted by supporters for his performance in his most recent Premier League start against Burnley, with one fan labelling him ‘pub level’ [(via Football Fancast)](https://www.footballfancast.com/premier-league/arsenal/guendouzi-gunners-arteta-dyche-clarets-fans-react).
