# Arsenal: Fans lambaste Mikel Arteta after comments following Burnley draw

**Arsenal fans have been lambasting Mikel Arteta after the head coach made some comments following the 0-0 draw away to Burnley.**

The Spaniard claimed that he was desperate to claim all three points in the fixture and that he was ‘disappointed’ that his team failed to do so [(via Arsenal)](https://twitter.com/Arsenal/status/1224059198662762498). It’s a result which continues a rather strange start to life under the former Manchester City assistant coach with the club having won three and lost one of his opening 10 games in charge [(via WhoScored)](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/13/Fixtures/England-Arsenal).

One fan gave his thoughts on the coach.

However, the north London outfit have now drawn a mammoth seven times under the 37-year-old as they continue to struggle in front of goal, having [scored just 11 goals across their 10 fixtures](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/13/Fixtures/England-Arsenal) under Arteta. Fans didn’t seem to be too pleased with their coach as they took to Twitter to hit out at him following his comments. Here is a selection of tweets from the Emirates Stadium faithful:

> So did we then realised we wouldn’t when we saw the team YOU picked.
>
> How can you watch Ozil over these 7 games and still pick him? You’ll only get away with so much goodwill, he will turn many against you. Man up.
