# Arsenal: Fans lash out at Raul Sanllehi after reports over Cedric Soares’ move to north London

**Arsenal fans have been lashing out at Raul Sanllehi after reports from The Athletic emerged about Cedric Soares’ move to north London emerged.**

[According to David Ornstein](https://theathletic.co.uk/1576633/2020/02/03/ornstein-arteta-arsenal-dubai-winter-break-king-united-transfer/), Southampton expected the right-back to move to a lower level or a team abroad and would even have let him move for free before the Gunners moved for the Portugal international. The Gooners seem to be in a perilous position after they saw Bukayo Saka pick up an injury in yesterday’s draw against Burnley.
