**Arsenal fans have been lauding Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the forward rescued the Gunners in the game against Norwich City.**

The Gabon international scored a brace as the club twice clawed back a one-goal deficit to leave Carrow Road with a point.

It was Aubameyang’s 9th and 10th goal of the season as he moved level with Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham in the Premier League goalscoring charts [(via BBC)](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/top-scorers).

Shockingly, his brace yesterday means the forward has now scored six of the club’s seven goals away from home, with Lucas Torreira having scored the other goal [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pierre-emerick-aubameyang/leistungsdaten/spieler/58864/plus/0?saison=2019).

[BBC pundit Garth Crooks](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50623009) commented on the side’s over-reliance on the 31-year-old, claiming he saved their ‘blushes’.

Fans were extremely complimentary of the forward as they took to Twitter to laud him for his brace against the Canaries.

Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:

> He really doesn’t deserve to be in a mid-table & depreciating club, neither is Leno, Laca & Ozil.

> Well played Auba, we would be lost without you. Need you to play as a lone striker though for you to be at your best

> You’re literally one of best strikers in the world. Consistent even with a lack of service. Never leave captain. ❤️
